A Strategic Compass for Navigating Complex News Environments
Thursday 22 January 2026 15:00-16:30 CET
OCEAN ROOM
This event will bring together senior leaders from the private sector, academia and civil society to explore how access to trusted information is reshaping corporate strategy, public affairs and advocacy in an AI-driven environment.
The discussion is informed by Leidar’s white paper “A Spirit of Dialogue – Technology-enabled Advocacy at Scale”, which highlights how organizations can navigate increasingly complex information landscapes. This perspective is reinforced by recent research coordinated by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and led by the BBC, examining how generative AI assistants source and present news content – often without clear attribution and with implications for accuracy, trust and influence.
As AI increasingly mediates how information is accessed and interpreted, corporate affairs leaders must rethink how they engage with stakeholders to build credibility and legitimacy.
With:
- Greg Perry, Director General, The Global Self-Care Federation (GSCF)
- Sarah Toms, Chief Innovation Officer, IMD
- Michelle Roverelli, Director of Member Relations and Communications, European Broadcasting Union (EBU)
Opening remarks and moderation by Lukasz M. Bochenek, CEO, Leidar
