Leveraging Legacy to Shift Systems: Business Families Accelerating Change
Tuesday 20 January 2026 09:00-11:00 CET
NATURE ROOM
Business families naturally think in generations, positioning them to create long-term prosperity not only for their enterprises but also for the wider systems they influence. Responding to today’s global challenges such as climate change, poverty, and inequality requires patient, multi-dimensional capital that extends beyond the economic to include social, cultural, and reputational forms.
This session is designed in two parts. It begins with a panel discussion that brings real-world examples of families deploying legacy as leverage for systems change, exploring how values are translated into action and where tensions and trade-offs arise. It then moves into a practical workshop, where participants are introduced to two frameworks FBN’s Four Drivers of Change and CSP’s Multicapital Framework, using simple tools to reflect on their own mix of capitals and how these can be more intentionally aligned to strengthen long-term, systemic impact.
Moderated by: Alexis du Roy de Blicquy, CEO, FBN with Andrew Bryson, Chief Impact & Innovation Officer, FBN; Jenaan Lilani, Head of Impact, FBN; Falko Paetzold, Founder and Managing Director, CSP
with:
- Isabel Hoffmann, Co-Founder rePLANET & Renew;
